I’ve spent the last eight years helping create unforgettable experiences for thousands of people. But the experiences that inspired me most didn’t happen in stadiums, arenas, or luxury venues.
They happened at home.
Hi, I’m BreAnna Theis, founder of Domenne Hospitality. I’m a creative at heart, an experienced event operations professional, and someone who believes some of life’s most meaningful moments happen when we invite people into our homes.
Growing up, I was surrounded by people who understood the art of hospitality. My mother had a gift for making occasions feel special, whether it was putting together a birthday, baby shower, or simply lending a helping hand to create experiences for others.
Then there was my godfather, Jean.
His house was the house.
The place where holidays happened, where 50 or more family members and friends gathered, and where the backyard became the backdrop for some of our greatest memories. He was the best host I’ve ever known. His home wasn’t just somewhere people visited; it was somewhere people belonged.
Sadly, Jean passed away recently. And I often wonder what will happen to all those traditions now that the person and place that brought everyone together are gone.
After recently relocating to Atlanta, I found myself longing to create those same experiences.
I’ve built friendships and wanted to invite people over for dinners and community nights. There was just one problem: I lived in a 650-square-foot apartment.
I had the heart to host, the creativity to create an experience, and the people I wanted to bring together.
I just didn’t have the space.
The hospitality and real estate industries have mastered the art of creating places for the public to gather while simultaneously eliminating opportunities for private entertaining.
We’ve become accustomed to restaurant birthday dinners, sterile or overly public lifeless venues, and having to settle for shared amenities. But there’s something irreplaceable about a personal invitation, gathering around a dining table, and making yourself at home.
That’s when I began asking myself:
What if you could have the experience of a beautiful home designed for entertaining, without having to own one?
That question became Domenne Hospitality.
A residential hospitality company reimagining the art of hosting through a collection of private, thoughtfully designed properties that combine the comfort of home with the convenience of professional hospitality.
The vision of Domenne is to develop places people return to throughout the year, where traditions are established, relationships deepen, and memories have somewhere to live.
